Colombian pizza in Sydney: plantain, chorizo and guava in the crust

Most of our menu is American style pizza, but one pizza stands out: the Colombiana. It is a pizza built around Colombian flavours, and it is one of our premium pizzas.
What is on the Colombiana
Tomato sauce, mozzarella, corn, bacon, chorizo and plantain, finished with a stuffed crust filled with guava paste.
Why guava in the crust works
Guava paste is a favourite sweet in Colombia, and eating it with cheese is a classic pairing there. In the crust it does the same job: a little sweetness next to the salty mozzarella. The plantain does something similar on top, softening the bacon and chorizo.
If you like sweet and salty together, the way people like pineapple on a Hawaiian, start with the Colombiana.
More Latin flavour on the menu
The Mexicana has spicy tomato sauce, mozzarella, jalapeños and nachos on top, with an optional guacamole sauce. The Spicy Cholo has spicy tomato sauce, mozzarella, jalapeños, chorizo, pork sausage and onion, with an optional chipotle sauce. Both are marked hot on the menu.
Try it on Crown Street
La Pizza Bella is at 310 Crown St, Darlinghurst. The Colombiana comes in Medium, Large and the 22 inch Mega. Order online for pickup or delivery, find us on Uber Eats, or call the shop.
